Once part of the greater German Reich, but now part of Poland, Silesia holds an important place in the history and culture of Germany and the Germans.  This video, more than two hours long, shows the viewer what life was like in the region prior to 1945, when it changed forever.  As the films for this video come from a number of sources, the quality varies, but it is overall very good.
