A surreal, but visually stunning biography of the Armenian troubadour Sayat Nova. His life is portrayed not through conventional narration, but through his poetry brought to life in this interpretation. In it, we see him grow up, fall in love, enter a monastery, and eventually die; but all of this is depicted in the context of what are images from the poet's imagination and his actual poems, which are rarely seen or heard today.

DVD-r is in Armenian with switchable English subtitles. Approx. 79 min. See film sample for audio and video quality!
