Nice quality print. The end cut is somewhat sudden but apart from that the quality is commendable.

Any fan of the longest day will appreciate these 1950s German war films as they'll see the actors therein. I like to see how Germany came to terms with its defeat, division, and West Germany 's integration into NATO. Like the Fox of Paris, or the last act, or the green devils, or 08/15, the devil's General explores the duty of military officers in a totalitarian regime. It's also not totally anti German military, which is refreshing.
