Eva Brunner is a secretary in the firm Rotter AG Export-Import. Bookkeeper Karl Muller is also an employee at the firm and immediately notices that the girl is something special. Much to the amazement of her colleagues, Eva doesn't seem to notice that Karl's got the hots for her. Even his sudden windfall-inheritance can't score points with the lady. In the meantime, there's a rumor going around that the pretty coat-check girl is carrying on with Director Morath. 

Eva Brunner ist Sekretärin bei der Rotter AG Export-Import. Buchhalter Karl Müller gehört ebenfalls zum Personal derselben Firma und bemerkt sofort, dass sie etwas Besonderes ist. Eva scheint zur Verwunderung ihrer Kolleginnen, nicht zu merken, dass er sich zu ihr hingezogen fühlt. Nicht einmal mit seiner plötzlichen Erbschaft kann er bei Eva punkten. Unterdessen wird gemunkelt, dass die hübsche Vorzimmerdame mit Direktor Morath ausgeht.
