During the Second World War, Mary, an attractive enemy agent pretending to be the girlfriend of a respected naval commander, plants false orders on him, the result of which is the sinking of a merchant ship for lack of a convoy escort.  The commander, Richard Heritage, is court-martialed and dismissed from the Navy.  Now a civilian, he's determined to prove his innocence and clear his name.  Tracking down his former 'girlfriend', he finds her dead body in a bedroom in a remote, seaside cottage.  At the house, he meets Laura Verity, who joins him in trying to solve the murder of the enemy agent.

DVD-R is in English with no subtitles.  Approx. 86 mins. + a 7 min. contemporary newsreel.  Some graininess, but otherwise, excellent quality.
