Dr. Juergen Wenter and the beautiful Marianne Mueller are both looking for an apartment. And both discover the same offer: “two furnished rooms to rent”. And since neither of them will pull back in favor of the other, they both look at the apartment together. The apartment belongs to the elderly Mr. Doehring, who wishes to rent the place only to a married couple. And so the fun begins!

Dr. Jürgen Wenter und die hübsche Marianne Müller sind gleichzeitig auf Zimmersuche. Beide entdecken dasselbe Angebot: "2 möblierte Zimmer zu vermieten". Da keiner von beiden zurücktreten will, besichtigen sie die Wohnung gemeinsam. Sie gehört dem alten Herrn Döhring, der aber nur an ein Ehepaar vermieten will. Also spielen sie eines.
