The Big Picture: Szoke Szakall, who plays the broker Polgar, has his hands quite full: he has to make sure his wayward sons don't go astray. The attention to detail is what makes this comedy especially attractive and one of the most enjoyable of its time. A lot of that is due to Szoke Szakall, an actor, who, above all, knows how to combine compassion, comedy, sentimentality and sarcastic wit.
