Pamela is a painter, who wants to earn some money in Munich with her works.  She is soon encouraged by a great artist, Andreas Alwin, and both learn to love one another.  But Pamela has overestimated her artistic maturity.  And finally, it’s a commission that she’s not capable of fulfilling that leads to a break between her and Andreas.  It doesn’t help, that she’s fallen in love with a younger man.  When she ends up under suspicion of forging a work of art, her young lover gives her the heave-ho for alleged “professional” reasons.

Die junge Pamela ist Malerin und will sich mit ihren Bildern in München Geld verdienen. Sehr bald wird sie von einem großen Künstler, Andreas Alwin, gefördert und beide lernen sich lieben. Doch Pamela überschätzt ihre künstlerische Reife. Anlässlich eines Auftrags, dem sie nicht gewachsen ist, kommt es zwischen ihr und Andreas zum Bruch. Erschwerend kommt hinzu, dass sie sich in einen jungen Mann verliebt hat. Als sie auch noch in den Verdacht einer Bildfälschung gerät, lässt der junge Geliebte sie aus Standesgründen fallen.
