All of Europe lays at the feet of the dancer Barberina.  Even Friedrich II, King of Prussia, wants to engage her at his opera house.  When she refuses, he has her brought to Berlin under military guard, forces her to perform and does so much to make sure she is cared for, that it soon seems a love story is to develop between the two.  However, when Friedrich goes to war against Austria, Barberina falls in love with the secret agent Baron von Cocceji.  After a concert she will perform in on the occasion of the return of the king from war, her intention is to flee with Coceji abroad.

This one's for fans of Lil Dagover or those who must have every Otto Gebühr film ever made, court intrigue and romance at the Prussian court.
Picture quality is pretty terrible, but the sound is great if you ignore the background noise.
