Sin Lei was a successful actress, who willingly chose to abandon her career when she got married. Unfortunately, her happiness ends, when she discovers that her husband Li De Chang is having an affair with a novelist by the name of Su Su. Filled with rage and humiliation, she devises an elaborate scheme to murder her husband and, to that end, she blackmails a medical practioner by the name of Dr. Huang as an accomplice. However, despite all of her in-depth calculations, things begin to unravel at the last minute, which not only jeopardizes the success of her project, but also threatens to expose her culpability for all to see.
