Nach der Scheidung der Eltern wird ein fünfjähriges Mädchen dem Vater, einem Straßenbauingenieur, zugesprochen und in Tirol wie ein Junge erzogen. Als die Mutter, eine Sängerin, plötzlich nach ihr schaut, setzt ein Tauziehen um das Kind ein, das der Vater mit einer neuen Lebensgefährtin für sich gewinnt. 

After her parents’ divorce, a five year old girl is awarded to the father, a road engineer, and the girl is brought up in Tyrol as a boy.  When the mother, a singer, suddenly looks for her, a tug of war develops over the child, which is won by the father, who has found a new life-partner.

Aber alles wird wieder eingerenkt von der kleinen Elisabeth, genannt Peter.

Follow-up film to „Seine Tochter ist der Peter“: It’s a story about a lawyer, who is in love with his colleague, and a couple hot to divorce, who are represented by both lawyers, who, as a result, have a fall out with each other. But everything will be set right by little Elisabeth, known as “Peter”.
