Regine Mobius has taken over the running of the firm Gloria --- a company which makes phonograph records --- from her uncle. She's in love with the director of the firm, Dr. Herbert Gerlach. He suggests that they sign an agreement with the singing duo Anita and Fernando Rodino. This involves a trip to Naples, during which they'd attempt to convince moody Anita to accept a three-year exclusive contract. Meanwhile, the Rodinos' manager approaches Regine and warns her about jealous Fernando, who's on his way to Naples to confront her supposed lover and shoot him. And this is a comedy?
