This DVD is made up of mainly newsreels and personal interviews which detail the events of the time period as they happened in both the Bundesrepublik and the DDR; though world events which would have had their effect on the region are sometimes included, too.  Each year is reviewed in approximately 12 to 13 minute snapshots.  A quick, but detailed look at life on both sides of the Iron Curtain as seen in German newsreports.

DVD-R IS IN GERMAN WITH NO SUBTITLES.  VERY GOOD QUALITY.  APPROXIMATELY 183 MINUTES.
