The daughter of a soap manufacturer is mistaken for a model by the painter Kurt Bach and brought to his studio. After a lot of suspicions, mistakes and fits of jealousy, the painting of the manufacturer’s daughter ends up as an advertisement for the soap factory.

Die Tochter eines Seifenfabrikanten wird von dem Maler Kurt Bach fälschlicherweise für ein Malermodell gehalten und mit in dessen Atelier genommen. Nach vielen Verdächtigungen, Irrtümern und Eifersüchteleien wird das Gemälde, für das Marion Modell stand, ein Reklamebild der Seifenfabrik.
