The daughter of a soap manufacturer is mistaken for a model by the painter Kurt Bach and brought to his studio.  After a lot of suspicions, mistakes and fits of jealousy, the painting of the manufacturer’s daughter ends up as an advertisement for the soap factory.

THERE IS A NEWSREEL ALONG WITH THE FILM, JUST AS GERMAN AUDIENCES MIGHT HAVE SEEN WHEN THE MOVIE WAS FIRST SHOWN (except this newsreel may not be contemporary to when the film was released).
