Anton is a faithful servant to the Count of Erlenburg, but he also has a very short temper. And there's enough going on in the castle to lead to his exploding: his lord is about to become the victim of a fraudulent marriage, while the young Willy von Erlenburg has inappropriately fallen for the neighbor's daughter, Leni. When Willy joins an expedition to Teheran out of protest against his father's wishes to undermine his relationship with Leni, a now pregnant Leni turns in desperation to Anton to help out.

Anton ist dem Grafen von Erlenburg ein treuer Kammerdiener, aber er hat auch ein sehr aufbrausendes Temperament. Und auf dem Schloß gibt es genug Anlaß zur Aufregung: Sein gutgläubiger Herr droht Opfer eines Heiratsschwindels zu werden, während sich der junge Willy von Erlenburg unstandesgemäß in die Nachbarstochter Leni verliebt hat. Als Willy sich aus Protest gegenüber seinem Vater, der die Beziehung unterbinden will, einer Expedition nach Teheran anschließt, wendet sich die mittlerweile schwangere Leni in ihrer Not an Anton.

From the moment Jean Julier appears on screen in this comedy, he takes the reins and never lets go. Everyone else is basically just there to play straight man - or woman - to his very unique style, which sometimes borders on frantic.
Very good picture quality.
