Hauptinhalt des Films ist die wilde Jagd durch ganz Europa nach zwei Porzellanleuchtern, in deren Geheimfächern wichtige Papiere versteckt sind. Am Ende wird eine politische Intrige aufgelöst, und es gibt ein Happy End zwischen den beiden ehemaligen Gegenspielern.

The main plot of this film is the wild hunt through all of Europe for two porcelain candle-holders, in whose secret compartments are very important papers.  By the time the film ends, a political intrigue will be resolved and a happy ending will take place between the two former adversaries.
