This is the only place to find the classic 1954 Robert Vernay adaptation of Monte Cristo with Jean Marais iin an English version. The subtitles are not system generated like you see on Youtube etc. This has been manually translated and is very good. The 1954 version has sadly never been restored and no blu ray exists (or even a French DVD version) but this German 16 mm print is good quality.
