Die Prokuristin einer angesehenen Bank wird verdächtigt, ihren Chef ermordet zu haben, und verweigert vor Gericht die Aussage, weil sie glaubt, den Neffen des Bankchefs, den sie liebt, decken zu müssen. Als klar wird, dass dieser unschuldig ist, spricht sie endlich.

A procuring agent in a bank is suspected of having murdered her boss and refuses to take the stand in her defense, because she believes she has to cover for the boss' nephew, who, she believes, carried out the dream of every working man and woman alive. However, when it becomes obvious that he's indeed innocent, she tells what she knows and this leads to the arrest of the real guilty party.
