Guatémala, 1951. Après diverses péripéties, un groupe d'Européens a échoué à Las Piedras, une misérable bourgade où règnent la misère et le chômage. Un jour, un puits de pétrole est ravagé par un gigantesque incendie. Une compagnie pétrolière américaine, la SOC, décide alors d'embaucher quatre hommes afin de convoyer 400 kilos de nitroglycérine, répartis en deux camions, jusqu'au puits de pétrole. Quatre des Européens sont engagés : Mario, Jo, Luigi et Bimba. Mais la tâche ne sera pas aisée, car les routes sont presque impraticables. 

Guatemala, 1951.  The flotsam of various European nations have ended up in the village of Las Piedras, a miserable place, where poverty and unemployment prevail.  One day, an oil rig is ravaged by a huge fire.  An American oil company, SOC, decides to hire four men to transport four hundred pounds of nitroglycerin in two trucks to the damaged wells.  Four of these outcast Europeans will make the journey:  Mario, Jo, Luigi and Bimba.  But the task won't be an easy one, because the roads are almost impassible.

DVD-R has two audio tracks:

1. The original, where at various times the following languages are spoken:  English; French; Italian; Spanish; German and Russian;

and

2. An audio track in German

Switchable English subtitles are available for both audio tracks.  

Film is approximately 141 minutes long.  Excellent quality.
