Immenhof wurde zu einem Hotel umgestaltet, das Urlaub mit Ponyreiten anbietet und sich deshalb "Ponyhotel" nennt. Die Mädchen Dick und Dalli reiten auf Ponys ins nahe gelegene Lübeck, um dort Werbung für das Ponyhotel zu machen. Da die Prospekte nicht zu erfüllende Erwartungen wecken, reisen die ersten Gäste enttäuscht wieder ab. Die Situation ändert sich, als es Jochen von Roth und Oma Jantzen gelingt, ein Reisebüro von den Vorzügen ihres Urlaubshotels zu überzeugen.

Immenhof’s been transformed into a hotel, which offers pony rides and is therefore known as a “pony hotel”.  Dick and Dalli ride on ponies in nearby Lubeck to advertise the new “pony hotel”.  Since the pony hotel’s surroundings don’t live up to guests’ expectations of what a “pony hotel” should be, most of them leave with bitter disappointment.  Things change, however, when Jochen von Roth and grandma Jantzen convince a travel agency of the merits of the hotel as a place to vacation.  Don’t waste your time looking for a room here on Expedia or Travelocity.
