E-PHOTOALBUM: THE DDR AS I SAW IT
We have sold many books and films about East Germany throughout the years and the interest in the DDR, both among American and foreign customers, continues to be strong. However, the one common thread among all these sales is that the books and films have almost always been in German, leaving the non-German speaking customer deprived. Well, no more: I am proud to present my own electronic photoalbum, THE DDR AS I SAW IT, written entirely in English and with over 300 pages of color photos, spanning the period of 1987 to 2000.The purpose of my book is not to present a comprehensive history or travel guide about the former DDR; rather, it is to present a view of travel throughout and observation of everyday life in the country as I experienced it over that 13 year period. FORMAT: This electronic book is compatible with Windows 98, ME, 2000, XP and Vista operating systems. The program allows you to flip pages with your mouse, as if you were browsing an actual book. There are tabs with help topics, should it not be obvious to you how to run the program. The CD can be played in most DVD players, too; but in such a case, the program will run a slide show at its own speed and you will not see any commentary. Insert the CD into your computer's CD player and it will start up automatically (depending on your computer, it may take a minute or so to start up). We are, of course, available for technical issues, should the need arise.
