Rudi, who’s been quite the ladies’ man, finally wants to settle down and marry Hilde.  So as to not get into a touchy situation with all his many women, he plans to bring them all together the night before his wedding (oh yeah, that’s a good time to tell them!).  While sitting alone in his apartment and burning all his old photos and love letters, he notices a woman in the garden.  She assets, that she’s hiding from a stubborn admirer  (no ego in this one) and he stupidly offers her to come in … and then it all begins!  First, his wife-to-be Hilde shows up, who wants to spend the night before their wedding together.  While Rudi tries to hide the unknown woman in his bedroom  (ah, another smart choice!), a hotel detective shows up and claims he’s following a thief. 

Rudi, der schon so einige Mädchen gekannt hat, möchte endlich häuslich werden und Hilde heiraten. Um nicht in pikante Situationen mit seinen Ex-Freundinnen zu geraten, verkündet er, den Abend vor der Hochzeit allein verbringen zu wollen. Als er so allein in seiner Wohnung sitzt und alte Fotos und Liebesbriefe vernichtet, bemerkt er im Garten eine Dame. Sie behauptet, sich vor einem hartnäckigen Verehrer zu verstecken, er bittet sie herein – und das Unheil nimmt seinen Lauf. Als nächstes klingelt seine Braut Hilde, die am Abend vor der Hochzeit bei ihm sein möchte. Während Rudi die unbekannte Dame im Schlafzimmer zu verstecken trachtet, trifft ein Hoteldetektiv ein, der behauptet, eine Diebin zu verfolgen.
