Theodoros, a quiet and modest man, is disappointed and embittered by the civil war which plagues postwar Greece. Then one day, a nightmare: Hitler's actually still alive and the Germans are coming back to conquer Greece!

Considering this film was made three years after a horrendously brutal occupation of Greece by the Germans and their allies; and considering that an even more horrendous civil war was taking place at the time fhis film was made; someone obviously had a rather ironic and bizarre sense of what "comedy" was.
