The press photographer Garda has been waiting eight months for her husband to come home.  He is the famous race car driver Andreas von Doerr, who has been recovering in a sanatorium in Cortina after a serious accident.  But before he can return home to his wife, an extravagant lady shows up, who claims to be in a relationship with Andreas and makes it all too clear, that Garda should disappear.  And although the relationship is indeed factual, Garda begins to strike back with all the weapons a wife possesses.   The only question would be:  why bother?

Die Pressefotografin Garda wartet nun schon acht Monate auf die Heimkehr ihres Mannes. Es ist der berühmte Rennfahrer Andreas von Doerr, der sich nach einem schweren Unfall in einem Sanatorium in Cortina erholt.  Doch vor seiner Rückkehr meldet sich eine extravagante Dame, die behauptet, mit Andreas ein Verhältnis zu haben und Garda unmissverständlich auffordert, das Feld zu räumen. Und obwohl das mit dem Verhältnis stimmt, beginnt Garda mit den Waffen einer Frau zurückzuschlagen.
