There is hope; there is disillusionment; there is hunger; there is fear. Thie contemporary DVD, combining pictures and period films with interviews of those who were there, attempts to bring the viewer into the world of the Stunde Null and what it was like to grow up, live and yes, die in the ruins of the old Reich which its conquerors were now rebuilding into societies they thought it should be in the future.
