A musical comedy:  Two young Germans living in South America as farmers, suffer from loneliness and seek penpals from the Fatherland.  A perky employee in a travel agency in Hamburg answers them both.  She tells one she’s rich; to the other, she represents herself under a friend’s name, who knows nothing about the whole sordid affair and who is already engaged.  Things get a bit sticky when the two men visit Germany and realize they’ve got the hots for the “two” ladies. 

Musikalisches Lustspiel: Zwei junge Deutsche, die in Südamerika als Farmer leben, leiden unter Einsamkeit und suchen Brieffreundinnen in der Heimat. Die kecke Angestellte eines Hamburger Reisebüros antwortet beiden, einmal als angebliche Millionärin und einmal unter dem Namen einer Freundin, die davon nichts weiß und auch bereits verlobt ist. Die Dinge komplizieren sich, als die verliebten Männer nach Deutschland kommen und feststellen, dass sie tatsächlich Hals über Kopf für die beiden Mädchen entflammt sind.
