Super film for both the militaria and DDR-enthusiast: color and black-and-white films about the equipment, training and use of the motorized troops in the DDR. More importantly, unlike many of the films out in the market, the quality of these films are, for the most part, extremely good. You need not be a military buff to enjoy these films: watching this piece of history unfold on the screen, covering a period in military history so hard to find information about in the West, this DVD fills in some pretty glaring gaps in the photographic history of one of the Warsaw Pact's most efficient and well-armed forces.
