Als der reiche Herr Pitt einen Millionenbetrag kündigen will, droht dem Bankhaus Schilling & Co. der Ruin. Um es zu retten, täuscht der Prokurist Peter Voß einen Einbruch vor, bei dem angeblich zwei Millionen Mark gestohlen werden. Detektiv Bobby Dodd heftet sich auf die Spur von Peter Voß, begleitet von Polly Pitt, der Tochter des Millionärs. Auf ihrer Jagd rund um die Welt kann Voß ihnen mehrfach knapp entkommen. Die Flucht führt in Begleitung einer Ballett-Truppe nach Marseille, dann nach Marokko.

When the rich Mr. Pitt decides to close out his account worth millions, the banking firm of Schilling & Co. is threatened with insolvency.  To prevent that happening, the lawyer Peter Voss fakes a break in, during which two million Marks are supposedly stolen.  Detective Bobby Dodd pursues Voss, accompanied by Polly Pitt, the millionaire’s daughter.  During the pursuit around the world, Voss just barely escapes from them time and time again.  His flight takes him with a ballet troupe to Marseille, then to Morocco.
