Anja Hoster works in a bar somewhere in Mongolia. After having a romantic affair with the explorer Clausen, she has a child, about whom Clausen knows nothing. In the interim, he’s married Maria, who is accompanying him on his trips. The three meet in a bar. However, in the presence of his wife, Anja can’t say anything about the kid. Clausen doesn’t return from the expedition and only his wife is found … dying.

Anja Hoster arbeitet in einer Bar irgendwo in der Mongolei. Aus einer Liebesbeziehung mit dem Forschungsreisenden Clausen hat sie ein Kind, von dem er aber nichts weiß. Er ist inzwischen mit Maria verheiratet, die ihn auf seinen Reisen begleitet. Die Drei begegnen sich in der Bar. Doch Anja kann ihm in Gegenwart seiner Frau nicht die Wahrheit sagen. Von der Expedition kehrt Clausen nicht zurück, nur seine Frau wird sterbend aufgefunden.
