Detective movie set in a Berlin apartment building: the demimonde lady Olga is found shot in her apartment. The shot was intercepted by something, otherwise, it would have killed Olga. Witnesses heard a noise around 2:00pm, which sounded like a shot. Criminal investigator Heidenreich investigates and determines, that the culprit could only have been one of the tenants in the house. He also determines, that many of the building’s residents are suspicious. But then he finds out that the noise, which the witnesses assumed was a gunshot was actually the sound of an exploding kettle. The real shot took place at 1:30pm and now he has to check all the alibis again until the truth comes to light.

Kriminalfilm, der in einem Berliner Mietshaus spielt: In ihrer Wohnung wird die Halbweltdame Olga angeschossen. Der Schuss wurde durch etwas abgefangen, sonst hätte er Olga getötet. Zeugen haben um 14.00 Uhr ein Geräusch gehört, das sich wie ein Schuss anhörte. Kriminalkommissar Heidenreich ermittelt und findet heraus, dass der Täter nur einer der Mieter im Haus gewesen sein kann. Er stellt fest, dass viele verdächtig sind. Dann findet er heraus, dass das Geräusch, das die Zeugen für den Schuss gehalten haben, von einem explodierten Wasserkocher stammte und dass der wirkliche Schuss schon um 13.30 abgegeben worden sein muss. Nun muss er alle Alibis erneut prüfen, bis die Wahrheit ans Tageslicht kommt.
