THE BATTLE OF THE NORTH ATLANTIC

The overall history of the German naval arm in the both world wars is covered in the first part of this documentary, in part using archival footage, interviews and historical reports. The second part of the DVD tells the story of the battle of the North Atlantic, when Hitler's U-Boats were such a menace to the allied war effort, that there were serious concerns it might cause a defeat for the Allies and an Axis victory in the War. Much use of archival film material.

DVD-R IS IN GERMAN WITH NO SUBTITLES

APPROXIMATELY 122 MINUTES.

QUALITY: DEPENDS ON THE SOURCE MATERIAL USED. FIRST PART OF THE FILM IS IN VHS TO VERY GOOD VHS QUALITY; SECOND PART IS MOSTLY VERY GOOD QUALITY.
