German/French film about the flirting between two German telephone operators and two French ones.  Erich from Berlin and Lily from Paris talk constantly with one another because of their telephone operating jobs and are so fond of each other, that they agree to meet in Paris.  Unfortunately, the rendezvous is thwarted by their colleagues:  When Erich is prevented from reaching their meeting point at the appointed time, he sends his colleague Max to meet Lily; and Lily’s colleague, Annette, pretends to be Lily and goes to meet Erich.

Deutsch-französischer Film über Flirts zwischen zwei deutschen Telefonisten und zwei französischen Telefonistinnen: Erich aus Berlin und Lily aus Paris telefonieren beruflich häufig miteinander und sind einander so sympathisch, dass sie sich in Paris verabreden. Das Rendezvous wird aber von ihren Kollegen vereitelt: Als Erich zum verabredeten Zeitpunkt verhindert ist, trifft sich an seiner Stelle sein Kollege Max mit Lily, und Lilys Kollegin Annette gibt sich für Lily aus und trifft Erich.
