TRAGEDY IN THE BALKANS - THE SERBIAN VIEW

PLEASE NOTE THAT MOST OF THIS FILM IS RAW MATERIAL WITH ABOUT HALF OF IT WITHOUT SOUND.

March 24, 2009 marked the 10th anniversary of the NATO launching of its bombing campaign on Serbia.  Most people in the West have seen thispart of history as it was filmed by cameramen from the NATO countries and from the air.  What it looked like on the ground was a very different story and is mostly unknown by those outside of Serbia itself. This DVD tells the story of the bombings' effects on the Serbians as well as the other side of the crimes against Serbs by the KosovoAlbanians.  The source work for these films come from the Serbs themselves and paint a counterpoint picture of events as we have been shownby western and pro-Kosovo media.  For that reason, this work is very controversial and will no doubt upset many by its graphic images aswell as the assertions that are being made by its images; namely, that war crimes were not limited to the Serb leadership in Belgrade ortheir Kosovo Serb agents. Our intention is not to take sides in the conflict which, hopefully, is forever over.  It is to show you the other side of the story sooften ignored or discounted.  It is in the interest of combating censorship and provoking the intellectual questioning of any one side to anhistorical event that we bring this DVD to you. In first half of this movie, you can see what it was like on Serbia-Albania border where Serbian police captured Albanians smuggling guns and ammunition across the border.  The second part covers the press conference held on several locations in Kosovo where mass graves of Serbian civilians killed by Albanians were found. This includes a crematorium in Klechka, where Albanian terrorists (UCK) burned dozens of bodies of Serbian men, women and children. This was recorded just before NATO attacked Serbia. The second half of the film shows the effects of the NATO bombing. It is NOT like what you saw on TV. In reality it does NOT look like a video game. This was filmed right on the spot, sometimes just seconds after the bomb blasts. See for yourself; and remember to always question the view of history provided by the victors!

REGION FREE (will play in any DVD player). Video quality overall is quite decent, though there is some pixellation
