Auf einem Ball erlebt Helga, die Tochter des gastgebenden Polizeipräfekten sonderbare Zwischenfälle, die auf einen Mann hindeuten, der ein gesuchter Verbrecher ist. Sie verliebt sich jedoch in ihn und will mit ihm fliehen. Als die Polizei das Haus umstellt hat, zieht der Fremde einen Revolver. Helga schreit laut auf ... Wie sich dann ergibt, hat sie alles nur geträumt - der Ball ist erst am nächsten Tag. Und dort stellt sich heraus, dass der Fremde, den sie im Traum begegnet war, einer der bekanntesten Kriminalbeamten ist, der soeben einen Verbrecher verhaftet hat. Als die Musik beginnt, tanzt sie mit ihm - fast wie in ihrem Traum. 

At a ball given by the head of the police, the daughter of the aforementioned policeman, Helga, is witness to some strange events, which point to a man, who is a wanted criminal.  Nevertheless, she falls in love with him and wants to flee with him.  When the police surround the house, this strange man pulls out a revolver.  Helga screams … But:  it turns out, she’s only dreamed the whole thing.  The ball isn’t until tomorrow.  And you know what?  It turns out that the strange criminal she saw in her dream is one of the most famous detectives in the world, who just happened to recently arrest a crook.  When the music begins, she dances with him … just like in her dream.  Hmmmm.
