Fritz Brockmann entstammt einer Familie voller erfolgreicher Künstler. Doch statt Sänger zu werden, arbeitet er lieber als Sportlehrer in einer Polizeischule. Er möchte statt als Berühmtheit um die Welt zu reisen, wie er es von seinen Eltern kennt, eine Frau finden, die er liebt und ein einfaches Leben führen, in dem er Zeit für seine Familie hat. Tatsächlich lernt er Yvonne kennen und heiratet sie. Doch als er kurz darauf seine Stelle verliert, entschließt er sich, doch noch Sänger zu werden. Er wird zu einer Konzerttournee verpflichtet und hat so großen Erfolg, dass er tatsächlich kaum noch Zeit für Yvonne findet. Ihnen wird klar, dass sie etwas unternehmen müssen, um ihre junge Ehe zu retten.

Fritz Brockmann comes from a family full of successful artists.  But instead of becoming a singer, he’d rather work as a phys ed teacher in a police academy.  And instead of traveling around the world as a celebrity, like his parents did, he would prefer to find a wife, whom he can love and lead a simple life and have time to raise a family.  In fact, he gets to know Yvonne and ends up marrying her.  But when he soon loses his job after marrying her, he decides to dig out the old family skeletons and bcome a singer.  He ends up doing the concert circuit and becomes such a success, that he hardly can find time for Yvonne.  It soon becomes clear to them, that they must do something to save their young marriage.
