He lashes out continuously against the aristocracy and bureaucracy. His greatest enemy is Metternich.

Der württembergische Sozialökonom Friedrich List ist ein leidenschaftlicher Kämpfer für den Eisenbahnbau und die Zollunion, denn noch immer gibt es Schlagbäume an den Grenzen der 36 deutschen Bundesstaaten. Immer wieder erhebt er seine Stimme gegen Fürstenhäuser und Bürokratie. Sein größter Feind ist Fürst Metternich.
