Following a chain of confusing events, a beautiful countess and a young diplomat overnight together in the same Viennese hotel apartment … without knowing it.  Through a duel with his superior, he’s fallen out of grace; she is on her way to her unloved fiancée.  The surprising and scandalous discovery on the following morning leads to a happy ending.
