Die Schilderung einer KDF- ("Kraft durch Freude") Reise mit dem Schiff nach Norwegen, zugleich die Zähmung eines Meckerers in der Gestalt des Buchhalters Petermann, der nach seiner Läuterung sogar noch eine Lebenskameradin findet. 

The film is basically a description of a KdF  (Strength through Joy) ship tour to Norway with the taming of a chronic complainer being the end result  (the bookkeeper Petermann).  After becoming a human being, Petermann even manages to find a partner for life.

 

THERE IS A NEWSREEL ALONG WITH THE FILM, JUST AS GERMAN AUDIENCES MIGHT HAVE SEEN WHEN THE MOVIE WAS FIRST SHOWN (except this newsreel may not be contemporary to when the film was released).

DVD-R IS IN GERMAN WITH NO SUBTITLES (except for the Newsreel).
