The story begins with the fact that the world is dead already. The water is coming very fast and nothing can be done to stop it. So the post-Soviet people are spending their last days hiding and going mad. The main character is losing his mind and trying to realize what is happening with the world. He finds out that some children have been left stuck in a school, that is sinking fast in the flood waters. We can see people in boats, on furniture, and there's no sun at all.
